Should I quit my job if I am unhappy? Or are we supposed to do what we need to do and that's it. I?

I am married and 31. My wife works and I work full time. Losing my salary would be a struggle for sure...but not kill us. I am just so damn unhappy at work. No kids yet...but want them for certain.
